Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Wildex, operated by Hunt Circle ("Wildex," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Wildex.

1. What Wildex is

Wildex is a marketplace app that connects hunters ("Hunters") with ranch owners offering guided and DIY hunts ("Ranch Owners"), and a community feed for sharing hunting content. Wildex facilitates bookings and payments between Hunters and Ranch Owners but is not a party to the hunt itself — the agreement to guide, host, and conduct the hunt safely and legally is between Hunter and Ranch Owner.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, since booking a hunt involves payment.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity that happens under your account.
• Ranch Owners must complete identity verification (via Stripe Identity) before listing a ranch.
• You're responsible for complying with all applicable hunting laws, licensing requirements, and regulations in the jurisdiction where a hunt takes place. Wildex does not verify hunting licenses or game regulations on your behalf.

3. Bookings and payments

• Booking prices, what's included (lodging, guiding, add-ons), and availability are set by the Ranch Owner and shown before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By booking, you authorize Wildex to charge your payment method through Stripe for the total shown.
• Ranch Owners receive payouts through Stripe Connect, less Wildex's platform fee.

Cancellation policy

• Hunter-initiated cancellation: you forfeit 25% of the total booking price to the Ranch Owner; the remaining 75% is refunded to your original payment method.
• Ranch-initiated cancellation: you receive a full refund. If the Ranch Owner cancels within two weeks of the scheduled hunt, a cancellation fee applies to the Ranch Owner as described in the Ranch Owner agreement.
• The exact cancellation policy and any fees are shown on the booking summary screen before you pay, and on the booking detail screen after you book.

4. Community Guidelines

Wildex is a community built on trust between people who share land, animals, and firearms or archery equipment. We have zero tolerance for content or behavior that endangers that trust. The following result in immediate content removal and may result in permanent account termination, with no warning required:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse of any user.
• Sexually explicit content, or any content sexualizing minors — reported immediately to the relevant authorities.
• Content depicting or promoting poaching, illegal take of game, canned hunts represented as fair-chase, or any violation of wildlife law.
• Content promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activity unrelated to lawful hunting.
• Fraudulent listings, fake bookings, or attempts to take payment outside of Wildex to avoid platform protections.
• Impersonation of another person, ranch, or business.

Every post, comment, profile, and ranch listing can be reported directly in the app. Reports are reviewed by Wildex; we may remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts at our discretion. You can also block or hide content from any user.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of photos and content you post. By posting, you grant Wildex a license to display, distribute, and store that content within the app as part of operating the service. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post what you post, and that it doesn't violate another person's rights or these Terms.

6. Ranch listings

Ranch Owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the safety of their property and guided hunts, and compliance with applicable insurance, licensing, and game-management requirements. Wildex does not inspect ranches or guarantee the accuracy of any listing.

7. Disclaimers

Hunting carries inherent risk, including the use of firearms and archery equipment, and takes place on land not controlled by Wildex. Wildex is provided "as is" and does not guarantee the conduct, safety practices, or reliability of any Hunter or Ranch Owner. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wildex disclaims liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from a hunt, booking, or interaction between users.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting support@thehuntcircle.com. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms or the Community Guidelines above.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Wildex evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where required, communicated in the app.
